Family Wellness Retreat: Growing Together in Christ
A Retreat For the Whole Family — December 4-6, 2026
Join us for our Family Retreat, offered by the Family Wellness Ministry of the Metropolis of San Francisco. We will explore our family systems in light of how Christ and His Church call us to live. Drawing on the Parable of the Good Samaritan, participants will be invited to deepen their understanding of relationships through both a theological and psychological lens. This workshop will equip attendees with practical tools to foster healthier relationships, learning to see others in their brokenness with compassion, and to encounter Christ within the tension of everyday life, beginning within our own families.
This retreat is for all ages! We will provide dedicated, age-specific activities for younger children, while middle schoolers and teens are invited to participate in the main retreat sessions.
Speakers
George Papageorge, LMFT, and Presvytera Pat Tsagalakis direct the Family Wellness Ministry for the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of San Francisco. George is a licensed family therapist, nationally recognized speaker, and adjunct professor. Presv. Pat is a retired educator and passionate advocate for building family connections. Together they travel widely as dynamic retreat leaders, blending faith, professional insight, and humor to inspire deeper connections in marriages, families, and church communities.
